Because I had to paint a lot of armor pieces for me frinds Loki-Cosplay in the last days, I want to share my experience with you!

Yes, I think it will work.
naybe you need to use q-tips for the detailed parts and add some darker shadows whit a small brush.

Where do you have this idea from? I'm just curious because I did it exactly like you with my Loki armour and I have a Facebook page too, where I post this technique. I don't want to condemn you but it looks like you used my idea. My Cosplay page is called Ukiyo Cosplay. So when you're taking the idea by me I would demand you to named me in your description. If it's your own idea I said nothing.
And a little hint: Woodglue will be bad if it's raining. So you need invisible laquer to safe it, when you don't want to have a white sprenkled armour.:)

ich bin mal so frei auf deutsch zu schreiben weil mein englisch net so gut ist XD

Ich hab mir gerade deine Seite angeschaut und festgestellt das es tatsächlich die selbe Technik ist.
aber nein, ich hatte sie net von dir gemoppst, ich kenn das ähnlich mit Silber. da benutzt man statt braun halt schwarz. aber die Anwendung ist die selbe.
und habs halt ausprobiert bei Gold.
Das Ergebnis mit schwarz war da weniger pralle, deswegen dann mit braun.

wenn du willst/magst kann ich dich aber gern mit in die Beschreibung schreiben.
dann können die leute die das Tutorial anschauen es auch mal an einem fertigen cos anschauen!

Und awww.
danke für den tipp mit dem Lack.
ich bin ja auch dumm... dabei weiß ich das Holzleim wasserlöslich ist... Thx~
