Elsa Dress by Ankh-Feels Elsa Dress by Ankh-Feels

I'm still not able to find a suitable word about how happy I am that the upper part of the dress came out like that! Wasn't thinking it would work half that well!

A lot of thanks to Yanis Cosplay for helping with the gluing part!

Material used:
Craft Foam, E6000 (glue), acrylic paints, nail polish, clear acrylic coating, hotfix rhinestones in three sizes, resin, silicon

How it was done:
1.: Sew the dress as a whole (with lining and everything)
2.: Cut little Craft foam rectangles till you want to cry
3.: Round out there edges and cry more
4.: Get your flatmate to glue them on. Make sure there are overlapping without any kind of order.
5.: Add sequins at the bottom to create the desired running out ice effect
6.: Paint everything in a light blue acrylic paint two times
7.: Create a gradient with a darker blue from the bottom
8.: Make some effects with white and blue paint and nail polish
9.: Seal everything with a nice and sheeny clear paint. Three times...
10: Have a meltdown while running around in the city because you are not able to find the rectangle Stones you want. (Gain some knowledge: The form is named Baguette...)
11.: Make your own silicon mold from 6 stones you have at home
12: Make 4 of them because no one is that patient.
13.: Cast 48 Stones with clear resin and paint half of them whit half transparent nail polish
14: Glue the stones and the Silver Rhinestones on the dress.
15.: Die happy

If there are still questions how anything was done, just ask!
